Planning for the 2nd annual Marines Helping Marines Fishing Tournament is under way. The tournament is tentatively set for July 10, 2010 at Lee Park, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Coming Soon - Wings for Wounded Warriors. A hotwing eating competition that goes bar to bar, pub to pub, restaurant to restaurant, for one purpose only: To raise money for Wounded Warriors.
Competitors pay a smal entry fee and receive a plate of twenty (20) wings. You will have two (2) minutes to eat as many as you can. Half of the group will move on to the second round based on how many wings are eaten.
In round two, you will receive another 20 wings and the process repeat itself. A winner will be crowned in the third and final round based on who eats the most wings off their last plate of twenty (20) wings. That contestant will receive $100 cash. The rest of the proceeds will be donated to the Marines Helping Marines Foundation.
